On September 13, 2012, Florina Terry passed away at Bishop Drumm Retirement Center. Funeral services will be Tuesday, September 18, 2012 with visitation beginning at 8:30 a.m. and funeral mass at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Peace Chapel, Bishop Drumm Center, 5817 Winwood Drive, Johnston, IA. Mass will be performed by her nephew, Reverend Tom DeCarlo.

Florina lived in Des Moines all of her life and worked in her early years at the Ordinance Plant in Ankeny. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Florina spent her entire life as a caretaker for her beloved son, Dennis (Denny). In her latter months, she resided with her brother, Harry and sister, Mamie at Bishop Drumm. She watched over both of them.

Those left to honor her are her son, Denny; her brother, Harry; and extended family of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William; her parents, Charles and MarySue DeCarlo; sisters, Margaret and Mamie; and brothers, Al, Merrick, and Art.
