Geneva Pat Rowley

Geneva Pat Rowley, 78, of Des Moines, died Thursday, Jan. 17, 2002, at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines due to complications of emphysema.

The funeral was held at 1 p.m. today at Westover Funeral Home in Des Moines. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery in West Des Moines.

Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.

Mrs. Rowley was born in Ringgold County.

She lived in Des Moines since 1974, moving there from Fairfield. She was a bookkeeper at the Glidden Paint Company and retired in 1987.

She was a member with the First Presbyterian Church and Order of Eastern Star, both of Fairfield.

Survivors include her husband Verlin Rowley of Des Moines; one daughter, Diane Bistline of Carroll; one son, Craig Rowley of Plano, Texas and two grandchildren.
