LIVED HERE 50 YEARS, MRS. BARQUIST DEAD

Mrs. P. W. Barquist died at her home, 716 Nineteenth street, Wednesday. Mrs. Barquist was born in Sweden, Feb. 15, 1856. She has lived in Des Moines fifty years.
She leaves her husband, ten children and eleven grandchildren. Her three daughters are Ruth and Irene Barquist, and Mrs. R. T. Mills and the seven sons, Edward, Arthur, Leonard, Axel, William, Roy and Herbert reside in Des Moines.
The funeral will be held Saturday at 2:30 from the First Lutheran church at East Fifth and Des Moines streets, of which Mrs. Barquist has been a member since coming to Des Moines.
