Funeral services for P. W. Barquist, 81 years old, 716 Nineteenth street, who died at Iowa Lutheran hospital yesterday, will be held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock from the First Lutheran church at East Fifth and Des Moines street.
The deceased, who was a metal worker, had been a resident of Des Moines sixty-three years, a member of the Lutheran church fifty years and secretary of the Society Scandia for twenty-five years.
He is survived by three daughters, Ruth, Irene and Mrs. R. T. Mills, six sons, Edward, Arthur, Leonard, William, Roy and Herbert, all of Des Moines.
