DEATHS

HARRIS-July 12, at his home in Saylor township, Alfred Harris, aged 81
years.
Mr. Harris was one of the earliest settlers of Polk county and leaves several
adult children, the most of whom are farmers. Deceased was widely known and
his nursery was one of the best in the state. The funeral will be held Tuesday
at 10 a.m. from the farm home and burial will take place at Saylorville.
