POLK PIONEER DEAD
Frederick Laast, 85, a pioneer resident of Polk co, died Sunday morning at his home north of Highland Park.
Mr. Laast is survived by his widow and one daughter. He had lived in Polk co for 40 years.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the Saylorville church. Burial was made in Pine Hill Cemetery.
