Ernest Fritz, 77, of 1314 E. Twenty-seventh court, a lifelong resident of des Moines died of uremic poisoning Saturday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital. He had been ill six months.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Fritz worked with the Gord Employment Service eight years until his retirement in 1951. Prior to that he was a carpenter with Wood Brothers Thresher Co. for 27 years.

Surviving are his wife, Bertha; a daughter, Mrs. Darlene Sanderson, Des Moines, and Dale, of Tujunga, Cal.; nine grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Augusta Elder, Altadena, Cal.
