August 20, 1908Miner Drops Dead
John Owens, aged 66, 854 Boyd avenue, a minor in the employ of Saylor mine No. 2, dropped dead at the mine, at 8 o'clock this morning.
Heart failure was the cause of his death. Mr. Owens had just gone below to work and was found by his fellow workmen. He is survived by two sons and a daughter.
