Alma E. McCleary, 85, of Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny died of a heart ailment there Monday April 17, 2000. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Altoona Funeral Home, with burial at Bondurant Cemetery in Bondurant
Mrs. McCleary was born in Ankeny and had lived in Bondurant before returning to Ankeny 10 years ago. She was a retired self –employed cosmetologist and a member of Altoona Methodist Church, National Cosmetology Association and Rebekah Lodge.
She is survived by a son, Roy of Norwalk; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
