Edna A. Blaze, 81, of 1002 E. Sixth St. died of a heart ailment Saturday at Mercy Skilled Care Facility. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Peters Catholic Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be in the Glendale Cemetery.
Mrs. Blaze was born in Jerome IA. And had lived in the Des Moines area most of her life. She retired as a machine operator for the Des Moines Glove Co. and was a member of the Rosary Society.
Surviving are a son Richard (Linda) Blaze of Des Moines; two sisters, Bessie Drobnich of Des Moines and Julia Rampelberg of Centerville; a brother, Tony Bubon of Pompano Beach Fla.; and two grandchildren.
Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home, where the family will meet with friends, at 4 p.m. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
