Charles W. Humphrey, 70 of 2525 S. W. 80th Ave., died of cancer Tuesday 7-9-1991 at Veterans Medical Center, The body has been cremated and a memorial service will be at 10 a. m. Saturday at Westover Funeral Home.
Mr. Humphrey was born in Marshfield, MO., and lived in Des Moines about 45 years. He retired in 1986 as a mechanic for H & H Auto Parts and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are four sons, James of North Miami Beach, FL; Robert of Stratford, CN, and Ronald and Roger, both of Des Moines; three daughters, Charlene Humphrey of North Miami Beach and Linda Kline and Lura Witt, both of Des Moines; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren
