Charles James Richards passed away on July 30, 1910. He was born in January 1861 in Monerre, Adams county, Wisconsin to Jesse Chineth and Abigail Jane (Humphrey) Richards. On September 21, 1883 in Humboldt county, he married Miss Eva Elstin Bailey, the daughter of Richard Bailey and Esther Jane (Stevens) Bailey. To this union, two daughters were born: Iva Jane and Ethel Gertrude Richards. He is survived by his wife and daughters. Interment will be in the Glendale Cemetery, Des Moines.
