Raymond B. Clark, 90, passed away January 30, 2011. Funeral will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, February 2, at Brooks South Town Chapel (7601 Fleur Drive) with burial to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. The family will begin greeting friends an hour prior to service at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family to be given to SouthernCare Hospice.

Raymond Byron Clark, son of Issac William and Ina Belle (Styles) Clark, was born May 13, 1920, in Des Moines, Iowa. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII, as a crew chief on a C-47. Raymond was united in marriage with Louise Tonizzo in 1942. He worked as a mail carrier for the United States Postal Service from 1952-1973, and then at Deluxe check printers. Raymond enjoyed painting and drawing, doing carpentry and watching soccer. He was especially excited to add some males to the family when his two great-grandsons were born.

Raymond is survived by his wife of 68 years, Louise; daughter, Mary L. Cornwell; two granddaughters, Kim Cornwell and Erin (Brian) Stevens; two great-grandsons, Jared and Parker; and a sister, Virginia Woodford.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Roy and Wilbur.
