Mrs. Pearl I. Holt Dies Here at 71

Mrs. Pearl I. (nee Sikes) Holt, 71, of 1319 Fifteenth St., Des Moines resident for 30 years, died Saturday at Still Osteopathic Hospital after a few week illness. She was a native of Maquoketa.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral home, with burial at Chapel Hill Gardens.

Surviving Mrs. Holt are three daughters, Mrs. Iona Miller, Washington, Ind.; Mrs. Elva Sweazey, San Diego, Cal.; and Mrs. Effie Blanchard, Des Moines; three sons, Albert of Randall, and Lynn and Marshall, Des Moines; two brothers, Byron Holt, Webster City, and Harvey Holt, Des Moines; 17 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
