Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Ankeny United Methodist Church for Alice A. Howard, 97, of 202 SW Third St., Ankeny, who died Monday of a heart ailment at the Sunnyview Care Center there.

Mrs. Howard was a lifelong resident of Ankeny and was a member of Ankeny First United Methodist Church and Ankeny chapter 513, Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a son, Addison of Tampa, FL.; two sisters, Jennie Howard of Dallas Center and Marie Hallowell of Seal Beach, CA., seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

The family suggests that all memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church.

Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Ankeny Funeral Home.
