Betty H. Mally, 72, of Elkhart died of cancer Monday at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elkhart Christian Church. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Ankeny.

Mrs. Mally was born in Beaver and lived in Elkhart 42 years. She retired as a supervisor at the National Animal Disease Laboratory in Ames and was a member of the Christian Church.

Survivors include three sons, James Ingram and Paul Mally, both of Phoenix, AZ., and Gary Ingram of Elkhart; three daughters, Janice Thompson of Owatonna, MN., Carol Kinney of St. Charles and Judy Lint of Polk City; two sisters, Louise Hall of Washington and Dorothy Young of Rippey; 17 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hamilton's near Highland Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to her church.
