Services for Alfred G. Howard, 86, of 2729 Capitol Ave., who died Friday at his home, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.

Mr. Howard worked for the Grove Sheet Metal Co. and was retired. He lived in Des Moines 26 years and was a native of LeRoy, MN. He was a member of the Fort Des Moines Odd Fellows Lodge.

He is survived by two nieces, Mrs. Harry Longden and Mrs. Ray Brady, both of Des Moines, and two nephews, Wesley Longden of Des Moines and Winston Howard of Denver, CO.
