DELORIS ELMORE ... Des Moines, Ia. - Delores Elmore, 88, of Bethany, Mo., died Friday, Oct. 16, 1998 at a hospital here.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 20 at the Cainsville First Christian Church under the direction of the Stoklasa Memorial Chapel of Cainsville. Burial was in the Glaze Cemetery at Cainsville.

Mrs. Elmore, the daughter of Mary and Joe Buis, was born near Cainsville on Jan. 5, 1910. She married Linnie Elmore at Ridgeway, Mo., on May 2, 1931; he died in 1987. She had resided in Cainsville moving to Bethany in 1990.

She was a member of the First Christian Church and CWF, both at Cainsville, and the good Neighbors Club of Bethany.

Mrs. Elmore is survived by a son, Raymond Elmore of Des Moines, Ia.; a daughter, Reva Sorenson of Bethany, Mo.; a brother, Darrel Buis of Ridgeway, Mo.; and by five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Roger; a great-grandchild; two sisters, Deva Zwicki and Dora Wilson; and a brother, Dean Buis.
