Obituary

Olive M Wheeler

Olive M. Wheeler, 94, of Ankeny died Friday at the Sunnyview Care Center in Ankeny after an illness of two weeks.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today from the Ankeny Funeral Home with burial at the Oralabor Cemetery.

Mrs. Wheeler was born in rural Polk County and lived near Ankeny all her life.

She worked for the Ankeny Locker Service and was a member of the United Church of Christ in Ankeny.

She is survived by a son, Charles, of Ames; a daughter Alma Porter of Ankeny; two sisters, Georgia West and Cora Boozel, both of Ankeny; seven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
