Mary Virginia Patten, 92, of Hemet, CA formerly of rural Berwick, IA, died in her home May 13, 2008.
"Ginny" was the only child of Harriet and Rolla Thornburg, who preceded her in death.
She was a faithful member of the First Baptist church in Hemet, CA.
Survivors are her husband of 56 years, Bart Patten; step-son, Lynn Patten and wife Lee; four step- grandchildren; five step- great-grandchildren and many friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Berwick Congregational Church at 11 a.m., August 2, 2008.
