MAYME SINCLAIR

Services for Mayme Sinclair, 73, of 3009 Grand Avenue, who died of cancer Sunday at the Iowa Methodist Medical Center, will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at the Westover Funeral Home with burial at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Oelwein at 3 p.m.

Born in Oelwein, Mrs. Sinclair was a teacher there for 19 years until her retirement in 1967. She also taught at Whiting, Clarion and Oran.

She was a 25 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jeaneen Ann Johnson of Cincinnati, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Ann Beardsley of Des Moines, two brothers, Lloyd Knudson of Des Moines and Arnold Knudson of Seattle, Wash., and two grandchildren.

The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
