Services for Edward L. Brewster, 68, of 3619 S.W. Fourth St., will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hamilton's Funeral Home. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens cemetery. Mr. Brewster died Saturday of a ruptured aneurysm at Veterans Hospital. A lifelog Des Moines resident, he was a retired carpenter. He was a member of Carpenters Union Local 106, East Gate Masonic Lodge, Knights Templar and Za-Ga-Zig Shrine. Surviving are his wife, Maxine; two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Doty of Dalton, PA and Mrs. Dianne Knight of Des Moines; a son, Dennis Brewster of Fleetville, PA; two brothers, Charels of Des Moines and James of West Des Moines; and six grandchildren. Edward died August 1, 1970.
