Raymond Johannes Hilbrand, 91, passed away at his home in Des Moines, Iowa on December 16, 2005. Services were held 11:00 am on Dec. 20, 2005 at the funeral home with burial at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery. He was born Aug. 29, 1914 in Ackley, Iowa to Rufus and Jessie Hilbrand. Raymond is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Mable, one son, Howard, five sisters and one brother.

He is survived by one son, R.J. Hilbrand; one daughter, Pat Allison Frank; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson and one sister, Helen Neubauer.
