Lucy Louise Morris, 98, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2007 at Karen Acres Health Care Center from congestive heart failure.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at McLaren's Chapel with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.

Louise was born September 14, 1908 in Commerce, Iowa the daughter of Lenora and Latta Acheson. She lived for many years in Urbandale and West Des Moines returning to Urbandale the last 10 years. She attended A.I.B. and was a member of West Des Moines United Methodist Church. Louise was a wonderful mother and homemaker who enjoyed sewing, playing cards and cooking.

Louise is survived by five daughters, Beverly (Gene) Broyles of Urbandale, Joan Rebec of West Des Moines, Donna Thompson of Windsor Heights, Sandra (Tom) Stillwagon of Iowa City, IA and Raedeen (Denny) Briggs of Urbandale; 12 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson and a sister, Pauline Crooks of Washington, IA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ritson Morris; daughter, Darlene Morris; and eight brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at McLaren's Chapel.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Central Iowa.
