Services were held Friday, April 24, at the Powers Funeral Home, Rolfe, for Mrs. Clifford Watts, 80, formerly of Rolfe, who died Tuesday at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. Myrtle Helvick was born in Thor, and moved to South Dakota at a young age. She was educated in South Dakota and at the age of 16, moved to Humboldt. She married Clifford Watts in 1917 at Humboldt and the couple moved to Rolfe where they resided until 1973. After 1973 they resided at the North Care Center in Humboldt.
Surviving are her husband, Clifford, Humboldt; sons Darrell, San Jose, Calif.; Robert, San Jose; many grandchildren; brother, Frank Helvick, Forest City and sisters, Mrs. Clara Tilley, Spencer, S. D., and Mrs. Floyd (Tina) Haight, Omaha.
