The Tames Divorce Record should be helpful as it should list the baby and whether the child was a boy or a girl and hopefully a name and birth date. If the baby was adopted, that involves a court adoption file that is probably sealed which is a little more difficult to research. However, if the divorce papers list a date of birth, it might be easier.
As for the fact that Donald and your father were listed on their birth certificates as the 2nd and 3rd live births does not mean that baby #1 was living at the time of their births -- only that baby #1 was a live versus a stillbirth or that Edna believed that baby #1 was still living [perhaps she had personal knowledge of the family]. The divorce records are your next best step.
