Marshall Center School Help

I am a student employee at the University of Northern Iowa. Our one room schoolhouse museum was originally built in Marshall Township, Pocahontas County, Iowa. We have been researching the school and its people for some time, and we were wondering if anyone might be able to help with the aforementioned surnames. Alice Garton was a school teacher at Marshall Center in 1920, and James McFadzen was a teacher in the early 1920s (1921-1923?). We were hoping someone might have information that they would like to share about these people, or about the Marshall Center School. Thank you for your time and help.
