Mrs.Charles Fuchs, resident of this vicinity for 47 years was laid to rest Sunday afternoon in the Laurens Cemetery.

Anna Martha Alborn was born August 27, 1870 near Perry, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Charles Fuchs in 1886 and the couple lived in Dallas County for 5 years. In the spring of 1891 they moved to a farm in Palo Alto County, Iowa, where they lived for 30 years. In 1921 they moved to Laurens, Iowa where they lived until the time of Mr. Fuchs death.

Mrs. Fuchs passsed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ernest Foster, on May 5 at the age of 68 years. She leaves a family of 4 daughters and 5 sons: Mrs. Ward Smith of Laurens,IA; Mrs. Wave Smith of Walnut Grove, MN; Mrs. Martin Udesen of Muscatine,IA; Will Fuchs of Laurens, IA; Carl Fuchs of Clear Lake, IA; Otto of Morris, IL; LuVern of Morris, IL; and L.G. Fuchs of Austin, MN. Besides these, Mr and Mrs Fuchs also reared as a son, Lloyd Fuchs of Faribault, MN, a son of their deceased son, Fred.
