REKA B. PETERS

Reka B. Peters, age 93 of Waseca. Minn. died on Wednesday. April 23. 2003. at her home in Waseca. Funeral services were April 26. 2003. at Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca with Rev. Roger Haug officiating. Interment was in Summit Hill Cemetery in Pocahontas, Iowa.

Mrs. Peters was born on May 13. 1909 in Pocahontas County. Iowa, to Albert and Rachel Beekmann. She was baptized and confirmed at St Peter's Lutheran Church at Pocahontas. On September 3, 1930, she was united in marriage to Henry Peters. Reka and Henry farmed In Pocahontas County until his death. In November of 1981 Reka moved to Waseca, Minn. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Waseca and its Peace Circle. She loved flowers and doing things for the family.

She is survived by three daughters, Norma (and Lowell) Hohensee of DeWitt, Iowa. Verna (and Earl) Dixon of San Diego, Calif. Diane (and William) Kemp of Waseca, Minn., by 8 grandchildren; by 12 great-grandchildren She was preceded in death by her husband. Henry; by an infant son; by four brothers; by four sisters: by one great-granddaughter
