In the bio of JP Beck of Remsen on your site, it is mentioned that JP's father Michael M Beck came to MO from Germany in 1840 and worked there as a carpenter before moving to Ossian IO where he became farmer. I had not seen this before. Where did the info come from? Do you have records for MM Beck point of entry to the US? Thank you.
