John L. Innis

My g-grandfather, John L. Innis, married Lizzie Seaburn on July 5, 1875 in Plymouth County, IA. They had a son, my grandfather, John Lemars Innis, born June 9, 1875 - presumably in Plymouth County, IA. John L. Sr. died in 1875, the same year his son was born. We don't know where he died, the date he died, how he died - nothing. The only information we do have is that he was a teacher and a "part-time" sheriff's deputy - and that may or may not be true.

Does anyone have any information so I can continue with this branch of my family tree? Any help would be appreciated!
