ALLEN (sic--Allan) STRONG

Allen (sic-Allan) Strong, 73, Ocean Springs, Miss., died Aug. 1, 1984, at Biloxi, Miss. He was a former longtime LeMars area farmer.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at LeMars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Larry Peterson will officiate.

Mr. Strong was born Feb. 7, 1911, at Climbing Hill to James and Mable Hatler Strong. He married Carolyn Reeves in LeMars on Aug. 8, 1934. The couple moved to Mississippi in 1971 after farming in the LeMars area.

Survivors are his wife, Carolyn of Ocean Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Sarah Voas and Connie Strong, both of Biloxi; four brothers, Merrill Strong, Bronson; Joy Strong, El Cajon, Calif; Right Strong and Warren Strong, both of Cave Creek, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Elsie Wikstrom, Hornick, and a grandson, Jeffrey Mark Voas. He was preceded in death by his parents.
