Mrs. Emily Howes

Mrs. Emily Howes, 86, of Merrill, died December 31, in a LeMars hospital. The deceased
was born in Illinois, October 26, 1858, and came to Plymouth County in a covered wagon with her parents as a young girl and spent the remainder of her life here. She was the wife of Al Howes, well known Washington Township farmer, who preceded her in death several years ago.

She is survived by three sons and one daughter.
