Simon D. Holloway

Funeral services were held last week Wednesday afternoon in South Sioux City for Simon D. Holloway, 73, who died in his home four miles west of South Sioux City, Monday night following a brief sickness. Internment was in Logan Park
Cemetery Sioux City.

Mr. Holloway was born March 13, 1864, at Sturgeon, Mo., where he lived until 1919, when he
moved to Hinton. He farmed near Hinton until moving to Dakota county with his son, H.C. Holloway, the only survivor.
