WAS ILL MANY MONTHS
Funeral Services Will Be Held Wednesday Afternoon

Coming to Plymouth County in a covered wagon with his parents at the age of seven years, Henry Darville lived practically all his life in this vicinity. His death took place yesterday at his home, 420 Fifth Avenue S. E., and was due to a complication of diseases. He had been ill for the last eighteen months. He was a son of Henry and Ann Darville, who came from England in 1854 and settled in McHenry county, Illinois, near Marengo.

Henry Darville was born in DeKalb county, March 17, 1863, and when he was seven years old his parents came to LeMars and located on a farm in Fredonia township which has been the family home since. Mr. Darville moved to LeMars when failing health made it impossible for him to continue the active work of a farmer. Mr. Darville lived for many years on a farm near Carnes.

He was united in marriage in 1892 with Miss Edith Coolbaugh, a member of the family of another well known farmer in that section of the country. He leaves four children, two son and two daughters, who are: Leslie Darville, Harold Darville, Mrs. Wilbur Criswell and Mrs. Gerben Keizer. There are seven grandchildren. He also leaves three brothers and two sisters, who are George Darville of Sioux City, Walter Darville of Detroit, Mich., C. J. Darville of Gayville, S. D., Mrs. Henry Hull of Omaha, Neb., and Mrs. Ruth Emery of Hecla, S. D.

The funeral will be held at 1:30 from the residence and services will be held at the Methodist church at 2 o'clock, Rev. F. B. Nixon, pastor of the church, and Rev. L. E. Wardle, of Seney, officiating.

Mr. Darville was a good citizen and neighbor and was highly esteemed in the community where he spent his life.
