Obituary--Opal E. Darville

Mrs. Opal E. Darville, 61, Toledo, Ohio, died Nov. 8 at St. Vincent hospital, Toledo, after a long illness.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at Mauer funeral chapel with Rev. G. O. Thompson officiating. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial cemetery under direction of Mauer funeral home.

She was born Aug. 2, 1908, at Leeds, the daughter of Harvey and Dora (Cardwell) Reid. She married Harold Darville Aug. 11, 1926, at Sioux Falls.

She lived in Sioux City and LeMars before moving to Ohio in 1957. She was a buyer for T. S. Martin Co., Sioux City, and later was a buyer for Teidtke department store, Toledo, for eight years until becoming ill 18 months ago.

She was preceded in death by her father in 1928 and her mother, Mrs. Dora Reid Gralapp, in 1968.

Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Hiller of Bellingham, Wash., and Mrs. Jean Stevenson of Sioux City; a son, Stanley of Melvin; two sisters, Mrs. Gladys Sprague of Chicago, and Mrs. Irene Farley of Moscow, Idaho; and six grandchildren.
