Obituaries--Harold Darville

Harold Darville, 73, a resident of Matney Morningside Manor, Sioux City, died Saturday (Dec. 2, 1978) at the nursing home after a brief illness.

Mr. Darville was born Aug. 11, 1905, in Plymouth county to Henry and Edith Coolbaugh Darville. He married Opal Reid Aug. 11, 1926, in Sioux Falls, S.D. She died in 1969.

He lived in LeMars and later in Sioux City until moving in 1957 to Ohio. He retired and moved to Sioux City in 1972. He was in the hardware business.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Harley (Joyce) Hiller of Bellingham, Wash., and Mrs. Donald (Jean) Stevenson of Sioux City; a son, Stanley of Melvin; six grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Ernest (Lila) Weber of LeMars, and Mrs. Amy Keizer of Lake Wales, Fla.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mauer Funeral chapel, LeMars. Rev. H. O. Thompson will officiate. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial cemetery.

He was a member of the Methodist church.

Mr. Darville was also preceded in death by a brother Leslie.
