Will Criswell Suffers Fatal Heart Attack
Well Known Elgin Township Farmer Dies Unexpectedly Monday Afternoon
In Usual Good Health
Complained of Pain After Short Walk From Farm

Death came without warning to Will Criswell, 68 (error-66), well known farmer of Elgin township, for many years, Monday afternoon. Mr. Criswell who lived in LeMars for a number of years, after farming near Seney, returned a short time ago to his farm east of Seney.

Yesterday, wishing to go to the store at Seney, on an errand, he walked from his home to the village, preferring to leave his car in the garage, on account of the deep mud on the roads. Arriving at Seney he stopped at a local gas station. In conversation with the attendant and others he complained of feeling ill and said he had a pain in his heart. Clarence Moore, a friend of Mr. Criswell, assisted him to the latter's home, where Mr. Criswell expired a few minutes later.

Apparently in good health, his death was ascribed to heart disease. Mr. Criswell had always enjoyed good health, according to his relatives.

Born in Ohio: Will Criswell was born in Canton, Ohio, September 22, 1869 (error--1871), and came to Plymouth county when a young man. His first wife Miss Anna Marcue, died several years ago. He was united in marriage about a year ago with Mrs. Stella Hinde, who survives him. He also leaves a son, Bert Criswell, who farms the home place in Elgin township. A son, Wilbur Criswell, died in 1929, when fatally kicked by a horse.

The funeral arrangements had not been completed last night.
