YOUNG STRUBLE GIRL DIES FROM MASTOID

Louise Harms, 10 Years Old, Succumbs After Operations—Funeral Tomorrow

Louise Harms, 10 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jurgen Harms, of Struble died at the Sacred Heart hospital Tuesday, following an operation for mastoid.

The funeral will be held Friday 1 p.m., from the home at Stuble; later from the Grant Township Lutheran Church, about 2 p.m., Rev. J.D. Meyer officiating. Luken’s are in charge of arrangements.

Louise was born April 8, 1918, in Grant Township. About two years ago the family moved to Struble, where she attended the Struble school, where she was in the sixth grade.

She is survived by her parents, one brother Marvin; four sisters, Helen, Theresa, Regina and Angeline.

Louise had been in the hospital for six days, but had been complaining of pain for some time before. Her death is a sad blow to her family and her little school companions.

Six of her school-mates will be pallbearers.

MOURN LOSS OF DAUGHTER
Louise Harms, Aged Ten Years, Succumbs to Painful Illness

Louise Harms, daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. Jurgen Harms of Struble, died at the Sacred Heart hospital in this city Tuesday noon, following an illness caused by mastoid trouble. The girl underwent an operation for relief without the desired result.

Louise Harms was born April 8, 1918, and was ten years, nine months and seven days old. She was a pupil in the sixth grade of the Struble public school and six of her classmates will carry her body to the grave.

She leaves to mourn her death her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jurgen Harms, her brother, Marvin, and four sisters, Helen, Theresa, Regina and Angeline.

The funeral will take place from the home at one o’clock today and services will be held in Christ church Grant township, Rev. J. D. Meyer, the pastor, officiating and interment made in Grant township cemetery.
