F. Thomas Dreeszen

F. Thomas Dreeszen, 72, Akron, died unexpectedly Monday (Nov. 13, 1972) at his home after he suffered an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Adaville United Methodist Church , rural Akron, with Rev. Larry Vallery officiating.

Burial will be in the Pleasant Valley cemetery, Adaville, under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home at Akron.

A prayer service will be held Tuesday at 8 p.m.

Mr. Dreeszen was born March 15, 1900, at Correctionville and moved to Plymouth county with his parents as a baby.

He farmed until his retirement in 1966.

He and June Bornholtz were married in 1936 at Hinton. She died in February 1946 and on July 26, 1961, he married Freda Anderson at Boone.

Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Kroksh of Akron; two sons, Marvin W. of Sioux City and Robert of Canton, S. D., a step-daughter, Mrs. John Schuchard of Akron; three brothers, Brian and Roy, both of Westfield, and Arch of Akron; a sister, Mrs. Russell Embick of Concord, Calif.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
