Miss Lucy Koetz, 81, Expires at Hospital After Brief Illness

Lucy Koetz, 81, of 427 Plymouth St. NE, died Thursday at Sacred Heart hospital after a brief illness. She was a lifelong Le Mars resident.

Miss Koetz was born Aug. 3, 1881, a daughter of the late John and Katherine Ruck Koetz. A sister Helen preceded her in death in 1955. There are no known survivors.

Funeral services will be at 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 10, at St. Joseph Catholic church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. D. Fisch will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery.

Friends may call at the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home after 3 p.m. Sunday. Parish rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Sunday.
