Wayne A. Reynolds, 63, Long Beach, Calif., former Sioux City resident, died Thursday ( Jan. 20, 1983 ) in a veterans hospital in Long Beach after a long illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, in the Catherdal of the Epiphany in Sioux City. Rev. Kevin E. McCoy, assistant pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Liberty Township cemetery at Hinton, under the direction of the Anderson - Perasso Funeral Home.

Mr. Reynolds was born Feb. 26, 1919, in Hinton. He graduated from Jefferson, S.D. High School where he lived from 1923 until 1939 when he moved to Long Beach. He worked at The Robert Shaw Factory in Long Beach for 20 years until illness forced his retirement in 1980.

Mr. Reynolds was a former member of the Cathedral of the Epiphany and St. Peter's Catholic Church in Jefferson. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors are three brothers; Kermit of Sioux City, Donald of Alexander, Minn., and his twin brother, Warren of Dallas, Texas. and one sister, Mrs. Albert ( Joan ) BOYLE of Sioux City.
