MRS. HANNA WEYEN OF IRETON VICINITY DEAD AT AGE 88

Funeral services for Mrs. Hanna Weyen, 88, longtime resident f the Ireton community who died Sunday at a Hawarden nursing home, were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran church in Preston township near Akron.

Rev. Conrad Guetzlaff was born July 24, 1874 in Germany and came to the United States with her parents as a young girl. She was married to Weye Weyen in 1895.

Survivors include two sons, Herman of Chatsworth and Henry of Alcester S. D.; two brothers, John Dirksen, resident in Wyoming, and Dick Dirksen of White River, S. D., and seven grandchildren.
