Note: She is buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Adaville, Iowa.

She was the daughter of Thomas and Susan Morse Lias. She was born May 9, 1864 in Jackson County, Iowa. She died of diphtheria on July 1, 1874 in Plymouth County, Iowa.

She was survived by her parents and four brothers William, Edwin, George and Charles and one infant sister Lucy and a mathernal grandfather Joel Morse of Muscatine County, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Abigail Dewing Morse of Muscatine County, Iowa and her paternal grandparents Jonathan and Elizabeth Smith Lias of Cottonville, Iowa.
