LAST RITES HELD FOR W. S. LIAS
Corvallis, Nov. 18, --GP—Funeral services for William S. Lias were held Wednesday afternoon were held Wednesday afternoon from Wright’s Chapel in Hamilton. Interment was in the Cosvallis cemetery. The Rev. T. S. Reagan was in charge.
Mr. Lias died Monday afternoon at the family home south of Corvallis, following two strokes of paralysis that had confined him to his home for eight days. A native of Iowa he would have been 82 years of age had he lived until Sunday.
He was married February 11, 1883, at Le Mars, Iowa to Mary Stinton. The family came to Winnett in 1914 and on to Corvallis in 1936.
The children are Clark Lias who arrived who arrived a few hours after his father’s death from Fort Peck; Mrs. George Harris of Seattle and Mrs. Harry McCullen of Corvallis.
