LE MARS, Iowa - Lloyd Edward Crouch, 88, died Friday, Nov. 20, 1998 at the Plymouth Manor Nursing Home in Le Mars.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron with the Rev. Lynn Potter officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mr. Crouch was born Dec. 1, 1909, near Hinton, Iowa, the son of Oscar and Genevieve (Hurt) Crouch. He attended school in Hinton and Sioux City.

He married Audrey Lilly Aug. 17, 1933 in Hinton. They farmed near Hinton for 62 years, then lived in Westfield for seven years, Akron for 18 years and moved to Le Mars in 1996.

He was a member of the Fair Board, Farm Bureau Board, Extension Board and was a 4-H leader.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Marily and her husband Vernon Robinson of Le Mars and Kathleen Bjorklund of Maple Grove, Minn.; six grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Richard Robinson; a son-in-law, Eugene Bjorklund and two sisters, Margaret Graham and Gladys Swanson.

Pallbearers will be Timm, Eric, Kirk and Donald Banks, Norman Graham and Vernon Robinson.
