FLOYD HURT - WAS NATIVE OF MERRILL

Floyd David Hurt, 68, Sioux City, a retired mechanic, died Friday night at a hospital after a long illness.

Mr. Hurt was born Aug. 4, 1890, at Merrill.

Survivors include the widow, Evelyn; a daughter, Mrs. Shirley Van Der Venter, Denver; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Oscar Crouch and Mrs. Guy Maxey, both of Sioux City.

The Nelson-Berger north side funeral home has charge of arrangements.
