John Null Was Member Of Well Known Plymouth County Family

Death claimed John R. Null, 66, resident of Plymouth county for many years, at the state hospital in Cherokee Sunday, June 13. He had been ailing with diabetes for the past year. Immediate cause of death was an attack of bronchial pneumonia.

John R. Null was born in Wayne township, Jones county, Iowa, December 2, 1870, and was a son of John R. Null and Mary Pecks Null, natives of Germany, who were early settlers in Plymouth county, coming here in 1881.

He is survived by his brother and sister, G. F. Null and Mrs. Max Utesch, of Brunsville.

The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon from the G. F. Null home in Brunsville with services at 2 : 15 o'clock in St. Peter's Lutheran church. Rev. A. Schempp, pastor, officiating, and interment made in the Grant township cemetery.
