Funeral services for Frank Becker, 84, who died Tuesday at his farm home near LeMars, were at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Seney Methodist church, Rev. M.L. Metcalf and Rev. Cannady officiated and burial was in the Seney cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.
Mr. Becker was born February 26, 1872, in Illinois. He had lived in this vicinity since he was 11 years old. He married Jeanette Reeves at Seney, December 19, 1900. She died in 1953.
Survivors include a son, Floyd of LeMars; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Helen) Woodhouse of Hudson, S.D.; five grandchildren; one great grandchild.

FRANK BECKER RITES THURSDAY
Frank Becker, 84, longtime Seney vicinity resident, died Tuesday, July 3, at his farm home in Elgin township following 3 1/2 years of illness.
He was born Feb. 26, 1872, in Illinois and moved to the Seney vicinity at the age of 11. Mr. Becker was a retired farmer.
His marriage to Jeanette Reeves took place Dec. 19, 1900, at Seney. She died in November 1953.
Survivors are a son, Frank (error--Floyd) Becker, of route 5, LeMars; a daughter, Mrs. Walter (Helen) Woodhouse of Hudson, S. D.; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Seney Methodist church. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Mauer's funeral home.
