MRS. MARIE WONSER, BURIED WEDNESDAY
WAS A SENEY NATIVE

Funeral services were held Wednesday for Mrs. Marie Wonser of Sioux City, 72, at the Methodist church in Seney, with the Rev. Curtis Minter officiating and burial in the Seney Cemetery under the auspices of the Mauer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Wonser, the former Marie Lancaster, was born Aug. 30, 1881, near Seney where she lived until her marriage in 1911 at Unity, Wis., to Fred Wonser. They made their home in Wisconsin.

Mr. Wonser died in 1939, and in 1942 she left Wisconsin and has lived in Sioux City for the past ten years. She passed away there Monday after an illness of several months.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. D. J. Edwards, a son, Gordon Wonser, and three sisters, all of Seney. They are Mrs. Annie McArthur, Mrs. Margaret Rees and Mrs. Lulu Penning.
